Github is evil. It that has proven itself numerous times to be an anti-consumer, anti-opensource corporation, that will train AI on your repositories without even mentioning you.
Github CI is extremely unstable and has extremely stupid bugs, like this one.
With the new update to the selfhosted runner pricing, I think that it's finally time that more people start moving from Github to selfhosted solutions.
