This Joomla 5 module displays detailed information about the author of a given article.
It can show the author's image, miscellaneous information, a link to the contact's page and a list of other articles by the same author.
It's a lightweight and useful tool for content-focused Joomla sites that wish to promote author presence and content discovery.
- Download the repository.
- In your Joomla administrator panel, go to Extensions > Manage > Install.
- Upload and install the module ZIP file.
- Go to Extensions > Modules, locate Author Info, and assign it to a module position (e.g.,

Display Author's Other Articles
If enabled, a list of other articles written by the author will be shown. -
Number of Articles Displayed
Defines how many of the author's other articles will be listed beneath the author info. -
Display Link to Contact
Adds a link to the Joomla contact page of the author (requires a Joomla Contact item linked to the user). -
Custom CSS
Add your own CSS class to customize the module's appearance further.
ℹ️ To display the contact link or miscellaneous info, ensure that each author has a properly linked Contact item under Components > Contacts and is associated with their Joomla user account.
