This removes the deprecated uncurried (. args) => ... function notation.

(This has already been reformatted to args => ... in v12 and v11 uncurried mode.)

It required some updates and one patch for dependencies in the rewatch testrepo that were still using this notation, which caused some rewatch test snapshot changes because the total number of source files changed.
