Summary of Changes

Hello @cka-dev, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request refactors the internal identification mechanism for custom brushes, standardizing on the name property of CustomBrush objects. Concurrently, it introduces a dedicated texture bitmap store to correctly load and apply textures for custom brushes, resolving a rendering issue, particularly for music-themed brushes. These changes ensure consistent brush behavior and visual fidelity across the application.

Highlights

  • Custom Brush ID Refactoring: The identification mechanism for custom brushes has been refactored, moving from using clientBrushFamilyId on the BrushFamily to the name property of the CustomBrush object itself for serialization and deserialization.
  • Texture Bitmap Store Introduction: A new component, CahierTextureBitmapStore, has been introduced to manage and provide texture bitmaps for custom brushes, specifically addressing the rendering of music-themed brushes like 'music-clef-g' and 'music-note-sixteenth'.
  • Integrated Texture Rendering: The CanvasStrokeRenderer initialization across various UI components (DrawingCanvas, DrawingDetailThumbnail, DrawingCanvasViewModel) has been updated to utilize the new CahierTextureBitmapStore, enabling the correct rendering of custom brush textures throughout the application.
  • Fix for Music Brush Texture Rendering: These changes directly address and fix the previously reported issue (Music custom brush is not properly rendering #13) where music brush textures were not rendering correctly.

Code Review

This pull request effectively refactors the handling of custom brush identifiers by decoupling the application-specific brush name from the BrushFamily object. This is a solid architectural improvement. Additionally, it successfully introduces texture rendering for custom brushes by implementing and integrating CahierTextureBitmapStore, which resolves the issue with music brush textures. The changes are well-structured. I've identified one potential bug regarding how the brush ID is determined when saving strokes and have also suggested a performance enhancement for the new texture store. Please see my detailed comments.
