(Issue) whenever I make a new contact, in progress towards backing up, the app deletes the contact from my device.

It's Android 14, AOSP ROM.

Will try in Android 10 MIUI12 afterwards and let you know if issue persists in older version.

Oh wow, that sounds like a serious issue. I'm still on a very old version of Android on my phone, so I haven't really tested in on new versions.

If someone is able to reproduce the issue, that would be great (I'm not sure when I'll find the time to have a look).
