Steps to reproduce

1. Enable the option "Ignore shortcuts in full-screen mode" in Command Palette settings.
2. Ensure no windows are open, leaving only a blank/empty desktop.
3. Press the assigned shortcut (e.g., Win + Alt+ SPACE).

✔️ Expected Behavior

Command Palette should activate normally on the empty desktop, as the desktop is not a full-screen application.

Command Palette fails to activate when the shortcut is pressed on an empty desktop.

Hi @Zhuoy3,

It might be that another application is making Windows think it’s running in full screen. The NVIDIA app is known to do this, for example: #41225
