Make caesar citeable? #102

Yo @dnarayanan,

Can I recommend making this citable?

I'm editing a JOSS paper and an author would like to cite it but had to create a custom entry for it. Here's the process:

  • Archive the latest release on Zenodo. This will generate a DOI that can be cited, and Zenodo will automatically include all contributors based on the GitHub commit history (assuming ORCID integration is used).

  • Create a CITATION.cff file to reference the Zenodo DOI.

Same is true for other repos. powderday seems to have an actual paper (in which case the citation can be directly to the paper) but the repo (or even the docs for that matter) does not have a reference to that.

Cheers!
