Unit and Responder Apps still sending notifications when logged out.

Descriptions: When users have logged out of either the responder or unit applications, they are still receiving critical dispatch notifications despite being logged out. This has been replicated across both Admin and non admin accounts.

I just submitted a ticket about this as well. But yes we are having this issue as well.

This is intended behavior. Users can be logged out for a number of reasons, some of them just due to system/device issues, and as long as the app remains installed and push notifications is enabled on the user side (both on the profile and on the device) they will get the push notifications.

What behavior are you looking for here/problem are you trying to solve?

For my application it would mainly be to prevent two cases

1. users from being notified when they are actually logged out without having to uninstall or mess with any settings as our application means that accounts are shared per unit opposed to per user
2. Users don't have to uninstall the apps after each use to prevent them being logged out.

The use case of resgrid for our application is not what i would consider your standard use case for resgrid

I agree. The user should have the ability to set there alerts off. For instance, when i go off duty, i do not want to get the alerts. Currently the only way i can stop the alerts is by removing the app completely. There needs to be a way to go off duty.

In the department settings page on the right-hand side, you can suppress notifications for selected staffing levels. This supports the off-duty use cases @minecrafter12345.

@N0ma5 the Responder app is intended for one person, one device. But the Unit app is not, seeming it requires the selection of a unit to receive dispatches independently of the logged-in user. If you can elaborate more on your use case to see if there is something else that can be done or another system feature that may cover the case.

Generally, for apps, they will receive notifications independent of the logged-in state. For example, my banking app logs me out, but I still get notifications for account alerts.
