Data Mismatch error due to DWrite.dll

I am suddenly experiencing a Data Mismatch error prompt upon launching the game. Checking the altered files log shows that DWrite.dll has been altered. Currently unable to load certain saves beyond 75%, I suspect due to this data mismatch. Could the script extender file have become corrupted?

I'm getting a similar error but when I played yesterday it was fine and I did not change those files at all. My game still loads but I'm worried about corrupting my saves or breaking the game.

Please be careful, I can play the game just fine, but it’s just that I can’t load a lot of saves. Once I hit the problem of the infinite loading screen, I have to roll back to a save that isn’t affected.

I had the same issue since a reinstall with a fresh downloaded dwrite.dll, so I dont think its corrupted, its just about the game not recognizing it suddenly. Only had this issue since sometime this last week

I'm also having this problem. And in the ModManager, new mods are giving the warning that "no installed script extender version found"

Any leads on what to do?

The game will warn you if there are any extra files in the Baldurs Gate 3\bin or Baldurs Gate 3\data directories that are not part of the game; if it only warns about DWrite.dll then this message is normal.
